Jane sent me this picture a few days ago. It shows what the baby looks like at this stage(6 week mark). To bad we can’t see a real picture of the baby inside her belly.

Today Jane has her first doctors appointment with Dr. A. Like with the last baby, I plan on being there for all of her appointments. I think today we might get to hear the heartbeat which is always fun. It will probably be a few more months before we get to see an ultrasound.

Anyways, someone at work asked me the other day if I’m excited about the baby. I told him, “Of course…why wouldn’t I be?” His reply was, “I dunno. Because you went through all of this once already.” He later went on to tell me, “Besides, you don’t look too excited.” I asked him, “What do you want? For me to do cartwheels and jump up and down like a little school girl?” Bottomline is that I’m just as excited about this baby as I was with the first. It’s a different kind of excitement. I’m not as nervous as the first time, because we are seasoned veterans now. But I’m thrilled at the thought of another adorable addition to our family.
