Well Thanksgiving sort of sucked. Originally we had planned on visiting my parents and having Thanksgiving dinner with them and then stopping by June’s house for her annual Thanksgiving party. But since the three of us were still sick, we cancelled all plans. We don’t want to pass along our germs to anyone…which I probably already did in Vegas. But that’s besides the point.

So we stayed home. Thanksgiving morning, we stopped by the market to pick up some groceries. I decided to try and salvage Thanksgiving dinner at least since we weren’t going to have a real one. The thing is we didn’t want to buy a whole turkey since there was no way we could finish that between the two(err…three) of us. So I made the huge mistake of buying sliced turkey…the kind you put on sandwiches. So that night, I made stuffing and homemade mashed potatoes…and dinner was served. Turned out the turkey was friggin’ spoiled. The sell by date on the package was Nov. 30…so we still had like 3 or 4 days. Anyways the turkey was not only salty but it was also sour. Bleech! So we had mashed potatoes and stuffing for dinner.

Anyways I’m not really complaining. I do have a lot to be thankful for…a roof over our head, a job, a wonderful wife, and a beautiful baby. So what’s one crappy dinner?
