Family

Where would I be without da family? Probably still sleeping in the dumpster they found me in. I think I'm pretty fortunate to have grown up in such a good environment. I think my parents did a great job raising me and my two brothers. We're all pretty normal for the most part. But then again, we're still young...

My father is the work horse in the family. Whoever says that being a doctor is great because of all the money...keep dreaming. Being a doctor takes a lot of sacrifices.

Sometimes all of that money is not worth the sacrifices...at least in my opinion. My father worked a lot when me and my brothers were kids, and because of that he had to sacrifice the type of father and son relationships you see on TV all the time. There was no playing catch outside, or afternoon baseball games. As my brothers and I grew up, we learned to appreciate more what our father has done for us. However, long talks with my father come along once in a bluemoon, because he is so quiet...but when we do have those talks, they are nice. Recently we've discovered that if we want to start up a talkative conversation with my father, then we should talk about golf. My father is a golf nut now. Even watches golf tournaments on TV, and tapes them when he can't watch them live. Started playing golf about 6 years ago and is now a full fledged addict. A very good golfer though. Hobbies include playing golf, watching golf, and reading about golf. :)

My mother is quite the opposite of my father. She

is very talkative and affectionate. She made lots of sacrifices for our well-being as well. Nobody was more important to her than her three little brats. We were spoiled rotten. She took good care of us and helped mold us into decent citizens of this wonderful country...HAHA. She's a registered nurse, but stopped working(as a nurse) a while back so she can take care of us. Now she works as an assistant to my dad. She makes the best food...which I didn't realize until I was old enough to appreciate good Thai food. Her noodle dishes are superb and her BBQ chicken and somtum(Thai papaya salad) are to die for. Her hobbies include cooking, talking on the phone(Thai women sure do love to gossip...and my mom was the Gossip Queen), gardening, and collecting junk(I inherited this trait from her). She's a huge Princess Diana freak and will collect anything with Diana's face on it. You could probably take a piece of garbage out of the trash and stick a picture of Diana's face on it and my mom would keep it.

My older brother Paul is 2 years older than me. He was always the smart one in the family. Graduated from highschool with a 4.5 GPA...nerd! Then gradauted from UC Berkeley with a BA in Business.

After that he went over to Thailand and Singapore for three years to work for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. He recently returned the the States and is now attendeding NorthWestern University's MBA program and plans to be an investment banker. This boy's gonna make a lot of money...all you single women out there, he's available...:) Growing up with him was always cool, but we rarely did things together. I was into sports and art, while he focused on studying and reading. Always had a book with him...whether it be in the car, at the dinner table, or on the can. He truly was a nerd...but I guess it's paid off. When I went off to college, we seemed to click with each other...I guess you can say that's when we considered each other friends as well as brothers. We talked a lot and he gave me loads of advice. Very easy to get along with..has a very good(wicked at times) sense of humor. Hobbies include reading(of course), sports, skiing, music, and computers. Check out his Web Site.

My younger brother Don was the one I was closest to when growing up. We always hung out together and he was the target for a lot of my aggression. I used to hit him a lot. He was my live

punching bag you can say. I sure did torture him. I once put a wrestling move(the Rude Awakening) on him that I saw on WWF wrestling...sprained his ankle and made him cry...hehe. Used to tease him all the time because everything I liked, he liked...everything I did, he did...and everything I bought, he bought. But then when he got into highschool, he began developing his own interests...or perhaps mine just changed so drastically. His interestes are sports(mainly basketball and football), skiing, music, movies, StarTrek, and computers now that he has a new PC. Fun person to hang around with, although I have to think twice before I pick on him...he's taller than me. But I can still kick his ass. He just graduated from UC Irvine with a Psychology degree. Now he is working full time for a radiology clinic called Healthview.

Me??? Well, what do you want to know about me.

I've already written stuff about myself on this site, but I will be redundant, for the sake of making this section more complete. My life is pretty boring. I basically do the same thing everyday. I wake up at 7am to go to work. I currently work for EarthLink Network as a Web Services Administrator. So I'm basically sitting in front of a computer 9 hours a day at work. Then I go home and jump on the computer for a few more hours. Basically if it weren't for my girlfriend, I would have no life. Occasionally we go out and have fun. When I'm not sitting in front of a computer, I like to watch sports(Kings and Lakers!!), watch movies, ski, listen to music, draw, travel, and sleep. My newest interest is jiu-jitsu. I currently train at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Acedemy in Torrance, CA. The class kicks ass. I highly recommend it to anyone. It could save your life one day.
